Animal Control

Animal Control

The Town of Renfrew promotes responsible pet ownership, encourages voluntary compliance with animal-related laws, and promotes pet licensing. Animal Control is a key component in helping make our community safe for both people and animals.

By-Law Enforcement Officers respond to various animal control calls such as:

Failure to do so may result in a fine. This law is in place for both the protection of pets and people living in and visiting the Town of Renfrew.

Dog Park

The park is located at Ma-Te-Way park directly behind Rushleau Ball Diamond (turn right after the Henry Eady Building). Parking is available adjacent to the park. Stoop and Scoop bags are available on site and owners are required to pick up after their animal while using this public site.
