Community Centres

Ma-te-Way Activity Centre:

This facility is suitable for large events such as community dances, wedding receptions, family reunions, retirement parties, Christmas parties, auctions, business meetings, trade shows and conventions. This facility is licensed and a bar service will be provided by the Town if required by the renter. A kitchen is provided for caterers to set up for catered functions. Spacious parking is provided on a paved lot with easy access.

Recreation Centre:

Located in the heart of beautiful downtown Renfrew, this facility is used for a variety of purposes including recreation programs, meetings, birthday parties, bridal and baby showers. Rooms are available for public rental.
The facility is open Monday to Friday 6:00am-9:00pm and Saturday and Sunday 10:00am-3:00pm.

Renfrew Millennium Trail:

Renfrew's 3.4 km long trail along the old CN tracks running from Barnet Blvd. to Lisgar Street suitable for walkers, joggers, wheelchairs, bicycles, bird watching, and cross-country skiing. The trail has benches and picnic tables for rest stops and provides a safe, scenic atmosphere in which to stay fit, for young and old alike.
