Local author Allison Azulay will be here to give us the first look at her newsest stories: "Propositions and Proposals". This is a FREE program.

Fri., Jan 12 - Aboriginal Awareness Program with Elder Patrick Aird (6pm) Cancelled due to inclement weather. 

An interactive program about the Algonquin culture. This is a FREE event.

Mon., Jan 15 - Financial Information for Women (6:30pm)

The first in our Women's Strength series! learn about finances and investements in a women-only environment. Hosted by Assante Financial. This is a FREE event, however REGISTRATION is required.

Sun., Jan. 21 - Women's Institute Book Reading (1:30pm)

Join us for readings of local stories from the "Ordinary to Extraordinary"! This is a FREE event.

Fri. Jan. 19 - Trivia Night Fundraiser (6:30pm)

Put your brain to work and outsmart the competition! Teams of 6, $10/person. At Ma-te-way Community Hall. REGISTRATION required.


Fri. Feb. 9 - Wine Tasting with KIN Vineyard (6pm)

Come and sample some local wines as you learn about the wine-making process from the KIN Vineyard wine experts! $10/personRegistration required.

Thurs., Feb. 22 - B.E.C.K. Transgender Support Speaking Tour (1-4pm for professionals/educators, 5:30-7:30pm for parents/youth)

An eduactional/support program for professionals and parents supporting trans youth. Hosted by BECK (Building through Education and Community Knowledge). Registration required. 

Feb. 26 - March 3 - Freedom to Read Week

Join RPL to celebrate your freedom to read! We'll have a display of banned and censored books and fun activities! Free.


Tues., Mar. 6 - Walk Through Japan (6:30pm)

Travel through japan from the comfort of the library! Presented by Ray Parchelo. This is a FREE event, however REGISTRATION is required.

Mar. 5-10 - Crochet Week

Celebrate the cozy event by yarning together and kicking off our new crochet-knitting club! FREE.

Fri., Mar. 16 - Irish Photo Shoot (2-5pm)

Use our green screen to visit Ireland! We'll take your photo and digitally place you at a top spot in Eire! FREE.

Thurs., Mar. 29 - Walk through Japan (Encore presentation)
