Recycling Program
In 2007, the Town of Renfrew implemented a two stream recycling collection system. The two new curbside collection systems are designed to eliminate restrictions that exist in the previous Blue Box Program. With these enhanced recycling options, it will now be easy and more efficient for all our current and any new blue box recyclers to recycle in Renfrew.

All industrial, commercial and institutional recyclers will be restricted by volume to eight (8) blue boxes and two (2) clear plastic bags of fine paper per stop.
If your recyclables are not packaged as per the instructions above, your blue box will not be picked up by the recycling contractor.
Additional blue boxes are available for $5.00 at Development & Works office, 127 Raglan Street South, Renfrew, or at the Municipal Garage, 529 Lisgar Avenue.
The new 2007 Blue Box Recycling Program enables each one of us to maximize waste diversion. Please familiarize yourself with all the options for recycling so that our recycling program is a success in Renfrew.
