As you enter the town via the O'Brien Road entrance, you can see many of Renfrew's newly established and expanded retail outlets. Continue down O'Brien Road past restaurants, fast food stops, renowned car dealerships and more until the road becomes Coumbes Street. That will bring you right through to Raglan Street South and into one of the best downtown shopping cores to be found.
With free weekend parking, and a wide variety of shops and services, Renfrew's historic downtown is worth a day of exploring. Wide sidewalks, seasonal flags, benches and flower boxes front the old stone and brick buildings to make just walking main street a pleasure.

The Renfrew Business Improvement Area is an association made up of local volunteers representing the downtown merchants. The BIA is responsible for beautification projects while promoting and advertising for the entire downtown area. It currently has 150 members.
"Shopping in Renfrew is so diverse, and with so many new and incoming businesses, it is just getting better and better," says Diana Wakely, BIA special promotions. "Every building in the downtown is full right now, you can't find retail space. That isn't something you can say about
many other towns in Canada."
Along with the banks, insurance companies, solicitors, chiropractor, eye care and financial services, there is also great shopping to be found.
There is a number of gift and specialty shops offering the different, beautiful and unusual for the perfect souvenir, present or kitchen gadget.
Stay stylish by buying a new outfit or two at the excellent ladies, men's and children's clothing and shoe stores.
Renfrew's jewelers can then help you pick out the perfect accessory.
You can find bargains in the several general
merchandise stores and shop for your hardware, home decor
or flooring needs. You can also pick up a movie, buy your
groceries or order a bouquet of fresh flowers.
If you feel the need to be pampered, Renfrew can take care of all your needs. Spas, hair styling, massage and esthetic services are all available to you.
Travel through town on Stewart Street and visit the restaurants or the shops featuring everything from antiques to jewelry. Then go straight to the Renfrew Mall where bargain shopping, ladies and children's clothing and more awaits!
