We are celebrating Canada’s 150th with “Renfrew Reads 150 Canadian Books”.  Vote for your favourite Canadian titles and see if your books make it to the top!  We will be compiling the list of Renfrew’s favourite 150 Canadian books between July 1st and October 1st, and declaring our winner during Ontario Public Library Week, October 15th-21st.

Votes can be emailed to, called in to 613-432-8151 x.3, sent through any of our social media accounts, or in person at the Library (starting July 4th)

“Renfrew Reads” is a “One Book, One Community” library program that supports reading, celebrates books, promotes Canadian writers and builds a sense of community through the shared experience of reading the same book.  Our 2nd annual Renfrew Reads - One Book, One Renfrew event is in the works, stay tuned!
